- 20.02.2016, Leisure Clothing Chinese New Year Party ~ another wonderful performances from staffs which brought the enjoyment for all crowd. Guests this year included Mr and Mrs Ambassador, consolers, from Chinese Embassy, director from Chinese Cultural Centre, representatives from Shang Hai Electric, CNPC，Medical Arcupuncture Centre, chamber of commerce, as well as some Maltese friends, local mayor and former MP etc... The event was visited and reported by the local Malta TV station of PBS.
- 22.12.2015, As usual, the company paid a big Christmas dinner party for all 200 staffs at one of the Chinese restaurants in the south. Delicious food included prawns, duck, beef, lamb, chicken, fish, rabbit and Chinese spring roll & dumpling. Karaoke and disco dancing followed with lots of fun!
- 08.09.2015, The management gave a full cooperation to the inspectors from DIER who conducted an inspection regarding labor conditions to all employees without prior notice. No irregularities were reported.
- 12.06.2015, Auditors sent from one of the major clients of the company carried out a two days intensive follow-up auditing both on health & safty and labor conditions. Both the factory and dormitory were inspected. Both paper works/documents and individual interviews were checked and carried out. The general result was Satisfying despite of some minors identified. Corrective action was followed in due courses by the management team in charge.
- The second staff spring Sports Game was held at Marsa Track & field ground on the 4th April,2015. Joys and Cheers!
- The 7th of March, Staff Party Happy Lantern Festival 2015. A wonderful and exciting event!
- 20,02,2015. Happy Chinese New Year! The Year of Ram, Goat, Sheep, whatever but with luck!
- 10,02,2015. International independent auditing firm SGS, appointed by one of a major clients,has carried out a two day intensive auditing at Leisure Clothing recently in terms of working condition, health&safety etc. A high score has been reached in general and the standard of dormitory was very adequate. There was no major findings except for some minors needed for improvement.
- 08,02,2015. Acrobats from China gave a two hour wonderful performance at the Mediterranean Centre in Valletta yesterday night to celebrate the Chinese New Year, organized by Chinese Cultural Center as well as Valletta Local Council. Over 100 Asian staffs of Leisure Clothing went to watch and enjoyed the show, with tickets sponsored by the company.
- On the 3rd Of Feb. The Chinese Ambassador to Malta Mr and Mrs Cai Jingbiao together with the Commercial Consoler Madam Qiu Guangling paid a visit to the Chinese owned factory and gave a festival greeting to all the staffs prior to the Chinese New Year upcoming.
- 30,01,2015. The annual Fire Evacuation drill was taken place on the 28th Jan. at the factory monitored by Pace Fire Prevention. All staffs involved and smoothly evacuated within 3 minutes. Quick and satisfied.
- 15,01,2015. The 10th Leisure Clothing Spring Festival Table Tennis Competition is held among the Asian staffs at the Hal Far dormitory. Men's , women's single , double and mixed double are to be played with prize money for winner and runner up as encouragement. Lots of fun!
- 25,12,2015. As usual, the management organized a Christmas & New Year Party at a Chinese restaurant in the south part of Malta where all the 200 staffs including Maltese, Chinese, North Korean and Vietnamese nationals enjoyed a wonderful evening with delicious food, drinks, dance and singing , winning lucky prizes such as IPhone 6, Camera, Italian leather hand bags and French perfume etc.. What a big family in a memorable event!
- Moda Malta fashion show, Label C in collaboration with Caroline Hili on 1st of November 2014.
- Jan 21, the managing director along with production manager from Giorgio Armani Operation paid a two day visit to Leisure Clothing where the program to set up EA production line was being discussed and agreed." the factory looks very very well organized and we are very impressed ." Mr Galavotti made his comment to the factory tour.
- A new auto-pocketing machine was lately invested to strengthen the trousers line. Machine is being set up and tested by technician from Dorkopp.
- On the 14th November 2011, production director and head of production from the German prestigous fashion house Escada paid a short visit to Leisure Clothing, ahead of a potential collabration which is expected to start early 2012.
- Discussion of incoming production order at Giorgio Armani Operation's office in Trissino, Italy.
- On the 27th of June, the President of CICET, the parent company of Leisure Clothing , Mr. Su Benming is scheduled for a 3 day visit to the Maltese subsidiary for the first time since his appointment to the post in August 2010.
- In 2010, Leisure Clothing was honoured by Jaeger and Aquarscutum Group as Quality Assurance Supplier.
